Our Groundbreaking Entice Panic Device Will be Unveiled at AIA |
C.R. Laurence-Blumcraft defined the category of tubular panics over 50 years ago. We’re doing it again with the new Entice Panic Device. Its revolutionary, patent-pending design features an independent, ultra-narrow horizontal crash bar that’s engineered to easily and securely attach to the vertical panic component. This unique 2-piece system means that for the first time, architects can specify a panic device with in-demand, back-to-back ladder pulls. The Entice Panic can be mounted onto both monolithic tempered glass and double-glazed insulating glass using proprietary through glass fittings. |

Entice® Entrance System Meets Code and Looks Great Doing It |
The industry-first Entice® Entrance System offers a unique combination of all-glass aesthetics and full-frame thermal performance so you no longer have to compromise. The system features ultra-narrow, 1-1/8" vertical door stiles to produce clean glass spans, while its thermally broken framing and cladding provides U-factors as low as 0.33 to meet energy codes. Entice® also has the distinct ability to support door handle hardware—including panic devices—on 1" insulating glass units using proprietary through-glass fittings.

GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing System: ICC-ES Approved to Meet Codes |
The GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing System is engineered to meet 2015 IBC updates, and features the first and only base shoe system for glass railings with ICC-ES approval. This means it will be accepted by code officials nationwide. A unique, multiple-hollow base shoe design makes it 30% lighter than standard base shoes. Because it utilizes dry-glaze technology, it can be installed up to 50% faster. The GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing System was a “Best in Category” award winner during Architectural Record’s Record Products competition.

See and Feel What Mojave Can do with Our Interactive Thermal Simulator |
The C.R. Laurence booth will feature an interactive thermal simulator that illustrates the thermal performance characteristics of our Mojave Advanced Thermal Entrance System as compared to a traditional aluminum door. It will give you a unique experience you can see and feel that’s sure to be a highlight of your AIA Expo experience!
Our Mojave Advanced Thermal Storefront and Entrance System is engineered for compliance with strict California Title 24 code requirements using both the prescriptive and performance approaches. Mojave utilizes polyamide struts and advanced internal insulation (AT model) to produce a highly energy-efficient thermal entrance that’s only 1-3/4" thick.
